Job Description:
An internship with CBC Group is designed to provide an insight into the day-to-day role of a healthcare-focused PE professionals. We look for intern candidates who demonstrate excellent analytical skills, strong motivation and a genuine interest in PE.
PE interns support pharmaceuticals and medtech/services teams on both investment and post-deal management assignments. The primary role is to support investment teams by performing market research and financial analysis, as well as multiple ad-hoc requests for transaction-related purposes. Our unique structure provides interns with exposure to all elements of the deal process encouraging a sense of responsibility from day one.
Time and Location:
Internships are offered for a period of three or six months starting from January 2020 and based in Shanghai. Interns are expected to work full-time throughout the internship.
Qualifications:
Internship candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:
-Prior work experience in PE, consulting and investment banking, or experience related to drug development would be preferred
-Self-motivated and able to work in a highly dynamic environment
-For business majored students (finance, accounting or economics preferred), in the 3rd / 4th year of college or pursuing a graduate degree from top universities
-For science majored students (medicine, pharmacy, biology or related principles), currently pursuing Master, PhD or MD degree from top universities
-Excellent communication skills
-Native Chinese, and excellent oral and written English
-Experience and exposure to an international working or academic environment is valued
-Excellent academic track record
-Willingness to learn and professional attitude and interests in healthcare industry
