Job Description:
This job is to be performed by a junior research assistant in the strategy team who is
responsible for studying and monitoring the Chinese financial markets. The specific
duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Generate asset-allocation ideas based on the analyses of the economy and markets.
- Write in-depth reports on specific topics related to investment strategies.
- Communicate with institutional clients and sales teams and provide research support.
- Build and maintain data models to track macro and market trends.
Core Qualifications
Education
· Bachelor’s degree or above.
Core competency
· Solid knowledge of and strong interest in macro and markets.
· Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.
· Excellent communication skills with good command of English and Chinese.
· Overseas experience and good English writing ability is a plus.
Preferred background
· 0-2 years of work experience in the financial industry.
